The 30 day Service play Challenge

Consist in gathering a group of at least 3 people who are willing to create a volunteer event that promotes service play. During the 30 days, they have to plan it and implement it. We will offer them an Action Kit that contains: Audio intro, instructions, assets to help promote the event, examples and ideas that motivate their project.

The group that completes the challenge taking into account all of the above will receive each a subscription to a pH program and in support to their cause we will donate $100 USD directly to the organization they are supporting.

Action Kit

Creating an Action Plan helps you organize what steps you can take for the 30 day Service play Challenge but also ensures that whatever your plan is, it is sustainable rather than just a one-off activation.

To truly change the world, we need to have an ongoing conversation that will shift perspectives.
A variety of events and activations is the best way to affect this change.

What can you do?

There is so much you can do in your community to support service play. Below is a list of ways you can get involved. If we’ve missed something, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us how you’re making a difference by dropping us a line at serviceplay@theplayapp.com:

Like to write?
Put pen to paper and tell us what service play means to you. Talk to community newspapers to have your work published.

Get the popcorn ready
Ask your local library to host a film screening and discussion. Need ideas? Try The Mask You Live In, Girl Rising, He Named Me Malala, Hunting Ground or Miss Representation.

Express yourself
Paint a mural showing your view of a gender equal world. Ask your public library or town hall to feature your work, inviting others to contribute.

Act it out
Swap the gender roles of a well-known play or use improv and spoofing to challenge
